About De Wijnhandelaar

Wine does not have to be complicated.

An approachable selection you can understand without taking a wine course first.

Plenty of choice. Easy to choose.

Discover wines for different tastes, occasions and budgets. Our wine finder, clear taste filters and sommelier’s favourites help you find a bottle that suits you.

Plain language.

We explain how a wine tastes, where it comes from and what to serve with it. No dictionary needed.

Occasion first.

BBQ, fish, drinks, a gift or just Friday evening. Start with the occasion rather than the grape.

Our promise

Good wine.
Without the fuss.

This site is built around one question: how can we make it easier to choose a bottle you will enjoy?
